Prayer Chain

Prayer is an essential mark of a life of faith.  One of our focused efforts of a faithful prayer life is our prayer chain.  If you have a prayer concern that you would like added to the prayer chair at Christ Lutheran Church please email your concern to office.christlutheransharonpa@gmail.com or contact the office at 724-981-2070.  The prayer chain network connects as often as prayer requests are received.

Ministry to the Homebound

As an extension of our Sunday worship, our home bound and nursing home residents receive communion on a regular basis from trained Eucharistic Ministers.  We also have a weekly hospital visitor.

Community Outreach

Christ Lutheran Church has a history of reaching out to the community.  The pastor is always a member of the Meals on Wheels board of directors, and we make our educational building available as a polling location for the immediate community.  Narcotics Anonymous and the Celiac Support Group use our facilities for meetings.

Assistance through 2-1-1

Our emergency Food Pantry is part of the database for this nationwide program.  By dialing 2-1-1 the caller can obtain help with a number of services.  They will be referred to agencies and/or organizations in their area who can render assistance to them.
